Their dashboards had the answers. They just couldn't see them.
The Context
Mighty Networks powers tens of thousands of communities, courses, and events. Their customers, who they call Hosts, earned over $500M in 2025.
But rapid growth created a familiar problem: dashboard spread.
"We didn't need more data," says founder and CEO Gina Bianchini. "We needed to know what to do about the handful of things that mattered."
The Shift
At first, the idea was for Sundial to do a proof of concept to replicate the existing dashboards. But both sides quickly realized this was the wrong approach.
Working directly with Gina and her leadership team, Sundial took it from the top and brought just three initial insights that changed everything.
From this work, Mighty began a shift around:
What they looked at. Putting in plain, actionable language the key insights that mattered.
What to do next. Specific recommendations tied to specific actions.
Her team immediately saw the difference in what Sundial was surfacing. They were instantly onboard.
“Sundial showed us exactly which early engagement patterns predicted whether a Host would still be thriving a year later. We’ve completely shifted our roadmap based on the insights," says Thomas Aaron, Mighty Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer.
The Outcomes
After working with Sundial, Gina and her leadership team were razor sharp in their focus without moving between dashboards.
With Sundial, Mighty is moving quickly to address:
Which Host behaviors in the first 30 days predict long-term success, so they can create more of them.
What separates thriving communities from struggling ones, so they can intervene earlier.
Where the biggest engagement opportunities are, so they can ship more of them faster.
They went from asking "where is that dashboard?" to prototyping what they are going to build next.
The New Normal
Today, Gina and her team run on Sundial. It's become the operating system for how they are growing the business, spotting opportunities, and making decisions.
For Gina, the experience revealed an opportunity she sees for every CEO.
"At the speed we all need to move at today, no CEO should be a victim of dashboard sprawl. Sundial shows us what actually matters. Every CEO deserves that."
